Fonds consists of Pathé Gazette stories dealing primarily with the world wars. Title include: The Battle of the Marne; Characteristic scene on French Front; General Pau in Switzerland; Great battle scenes on Western Front; Hand grenade fighting (1916); Italy's new thrust; Making them work; A pneumatic bomb thrower (1917); Shell torn Rheims; and Western Front: Frightful hecatombs.

Pathé Gazette : Pathé Gazette was a British newsreel of the silent era that was issued twice a week for most of its sixty year run (1910-1970). All major news stories from all over the world were featured, and shown in Britain, United States and Canada. The newsreels were produced by the British operations of the International Pathé company. Beginning circa February 1919 Lord Beaverbrook was put in charge of the newsreel. In 1946 Pathé Gazette became Pathé News.
