Fonds consists of a sound recording of a CHUM radio program about Tony Golab, his athletic prowess, his military career, and his success in football and sports. Photographic material depicts Tony Golab during his football career. Some photographs are by Y. Karsh.

Golab, Tony : Tony Golab, born January 17, 1919. Golab began his football career with the Sarnia Imperials. In 1939 he signed with the Ottawa Rough Riders and stayed with that team until 1950. He joined the RCAF during World War II. After retiring from the Ottawa Rough Riders, he coached the Hamilton ORFU Panthers in 1952 and 1953.
