Collection consists of annual calendars designed and produced by the Toronto Art Students' League. The calendars were engraved by the Toronto Engraving Co., printed by Bryant Press, and lithographed by Alexander and Cable Co. The 1894 calendar has "The Seasons" as its theme, and includes folios with photomechanical reproductions of works by D.F. Thomson, F.H. Brigden, C.W. Jeffreys, C.M. Manly, R. Holmes, W.O. Blatchly, J.D. Kelly, W.W. Alexander and J. Jephcott. The 1897 calendar has "Canadian Waterways" as its theme and includes folios and a lithograph cover with works by the artists mentioned above as well as Jean Adams Jeffreys.

Collection also consists of films on the founding executive and members of the club and other films relating to the history and activities of the club. Most of the films were shot by C.A.G. Matthews.

Arts and Letters Club of Toronto : Founded in 1908 by editor and arts critic Augustus Bridle, the Arts and Letters Club was a gathering place for professionals in the arts and for interested amateurs. After several moves, the Club finally established itself at St. George's Hall on Elm Street in 1919. It adopted a constitution (set to music by Healey Willan) in 1912 and was incorporated in 1920. Supporting and encouraging numerous artistic activities, the Club has hosted a variety of musical ensembles, such as the Hambourg Trio, the Academy String Quartet, the Adanac Quartet and the New World Chamber Orchestra.

Today, the Club is a meeting place for professionals in the arts, and for those men and women in whose lives the arts play an absorbing role. The main function of the Club is to provide a milieu for the free and vigorous exchange of ideas and opinions, where conversation and companionship are the principle bill of fare. The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto is not a marketplace for business. The Club offers its members a retreat from the pressures of everyday life, in a democracy of creative minds.
