Fonds consists of film footage shot by MacAskill of the last schooner race between the Bluenose and the Gertude L. Thebaud and a travelogue of Nova Scotia.

Photographic material depicts Nova Scotian wooden ships out of Halifax Harbour and a view of Cap La Ronde, Nova Scotia. Exhibition print of "Morning along the waterfront".
