Kent Northern Railway Company : La Kent Northern Railway Company a été constituée en société, en vertu du New Brunswick Act, 37 Vic., c. 81, le 8 avril 1874, sous le nom de Northern Railway Company. Une ligne ferroviaire de 26,5 milles menant de Kent Junction, sur l'Intercolonial Railway, jusqu'à Richibucto sera construite entre 1881 et 1883. Le 9 avril 1903, la Kent Northern Railway Company sera constituée en société en vertu du New Brunswick Act, 3 Edward VII, c. 95, afin d'acquérir la propriété et la concession de la Northern Railway Company. Le 7 août 1929, la Kent Northern Railway Company sera acquise, au prix de 60 000 $, par la Compagnie des chemins de fer nationaux du Canada.
