Danske Filmmuseum : Det Danske Filmmuseum, today known as the Det Danske Filminstitut (The Danish Film Institute), is the national agency responsible for supporting and encouraging film and cinema culture and for conserving these in the national interest. Located in Kobenhavnk, Denmark, the operations of the Institute extend from participation in the development and production of feature films, shorts and documentaries, distribution and marketing, and the management of the national film archive and cinematheque. Custodial history:

Some of this material was part of the Canadian Film Institute's (CFI) transfer to the National Archives on May 12, 1975. The CFI received this material from the Det Danske Filmmuseum between 1968 and 1974. The rest of the material was received by the National Archives in 1985 from the Det Dankse Filmmuseum.
