Collection consists of documentaries on China in the 1920s and 1930s, recording views of Peking, a celebration in honour of Sun Yat Sen, and the bombing of Shanghai and Nanking. Also included is the fiction feature film The pearl necklace.

Vancouver Museum : The Vancouver Museum originated with a group of individuals who saw the need for a museum in the city of Vancouver to "cultivate a taste for the beauties and refinements of life." This group formed an art association in 1887. In 1894 the art association expanded into the Art, Historical, and Scientific Association of Vancouver. Thereafter, members began collecting artifacts for a museum. This museum officially opened on 15 April 1905 on the top floor of a new library building in Vancouver. In 1967 the museum was relocated to a new building designed by architect Gerald Hamilton. Originally called the Centennial Museum, the name was changed to the Vancouver Museum in 1981. The Vancouver Musuem, Canada's largest civic museum, continues to celebrate the cultural and human history of the Vancouver region through its diverse collection, permanent displays, exhibitions and educational programs.
