Therrien, Ross J : Ross J. Therrien (fl. 1975), is a private collector based in Bancroft, Ontario. His grandfather, James Alfred Therrien, was born in Deseronto, Ontario, on July 21, 1887 and died in May 1972. Both Ross Therrien's father, Ross Douglas Therrien, and his grandfather, worked in the construction business. His grandfather shot all the footage, many dealing with the early construction of dams, railways and bridges in Northern Ontario and the Abitibi region of Québec. Ross Therrien edited the films.
