Collection consists of three 1921 dramatic films staring the North West Mounted Police entitled: Rope's end; Tricked; and False trail. The films were all shot by Irving Cummings in Western Canada.

Custodial history:

The Rhode Island Historical Society turned the three films over to the American Film Institute (AFI), Washington, D.C. The AFI loaned the material to the National Archives in 1971 for copying.

Location of originals note:

American Film Institute: Washington, D.C.: USA: It is believed that this material is part of the Irving Cummings collection at the AFI.
