International Film Distributors Inc : International Film Distributors Ltd., was a film and television distribution company active circa 1965 to 1979. It had offices in Toronto, Montreal and other locations across Canada. It was wholly owned by the Canadian subsidiary of NTA Inc. Its founding president was N.A. Taylor. It handled film productions by such companies as Embassy Pictures, Continental Pictures and Allied Artists Pictures Corporation. In television, International Film Distributors Ltd., was a Canadian representative for such companies as NTA, Walter Reade and the NBC library. Toronto International Studios was a branch of this company.

Custodial history:

The film The bloody brood was part of the Canadian Film Institute's (CFI) transfer to the National Archives on May 12, 1975. The CFI received the material from International Film Distributors in 1973.
