Natives enter the world of retail commerce after opening their own department at a Simpson's department store in Montreal, Quebec. Included: long shot of a city street with a building under construction; medium shot of a Native Indian ceremony with Natives in traditional costume; close-up of a fire in a dish; a Native Chief performing the ceremony; the presentation of a certificate; close-up of the document which reads "Remembrance of this Day, to the President of Simpson's Co., I present these tokens from my heart, this ear of corn is your life. This mask of our ancient belief our heart string to the Great White Spirit, signed Chief Poking Fire"; ceremonial dancing; Natives wearing masks; the store manager A.R.
