Canadian Serbian Club of Toronto : The Canadian Serbian Club of Toronto was established in the early 1970s by Bora Dragasevich. Following its establishment, it became evident that there was a need for ethnocultural programming for the large Canadian-Serbian community in the Golden Horseshoe region. As a result the Serbian radio program Radio Sumadija was established. Thereafter, the Canadian Serbian Club of Toronto became known as Radio Sumadija. The Serbian radio program, Radio Sumadija, become part of CHIN 8 Radio, thereby reaching the Serbian community in major centres of Ontario, and several US states. Radio Sumadija is a community based bilingual Serbian-English language program and, as of 1999, the only bilingual program serving the Canadian-Serbian community. Canada.
