Fonds consists of broadcast of simultaneous translation into English of speches and commentary by General Charles de Gaulle president of France and two radio programs of the moon landing, the first walk on the moon by American astronauts, the first take-off from the moon and the return to earth in 1969.

CFMB (Radio station : Montréal, Quebec) : In 1933 CHLP began broadcasting in January on 1200 kHz with 100 watts of power. Later in the year, CHLP switched to 1120 kHz. On March 29 1941, CHLP changed from 1120 kHz to 1490 kHz. In 1947 CHLP was listed at 1490 kHz with 250 watts power (Pending: 1,000 watts). In 1962 Chateau Broadcasting Co. Ltd. (C. Sodo, C.G. Stanczykowski & C. Nolin) purchased CHLP and received permission to increase power to 10,000 watts full-mtime, DA-1, using four 205 foot towers on the 2nd and 3rd concessions of La Madeleine Parish. Studios were moved to 2015 Drummond St. CHLP became Canada's first multilingual broadcaster, as CFMB on December 21. In 1978 CFMB moved to new state-of-the-art studios and offices at 35 York Street in Westmount, Montreal. On February 21 1997, the CRTC approved a plan by CFMB to switch from 1410 kHz with 10,000 watts to the frequency formerly held by CJMS (now defunct), 1280 kHz with 50,000 watts. A new transmitter site was located approximately 15 km southwest of the currentmsite. CFMB began testing on the new 1280 frequency in the Spring and moved there permanently in September.
