Canadian Association of Journalists : The Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) is a national non-profit advocacy and professional development organization established to serve Canadian journalists from all media, including print, radio and television. The Association was founded in 1978 as the Centre for Investigative Journalism. In 1990 its name was changed to The Canadian Association of Journalists. CAJ has more than 1,500 members across Canada, and is run by a volunteer board of professional journalists. The Association has chapters in Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, Montreal, National Capital, Eastern Ontario, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Interior B.C., Vancouver, and Victoria.
