Battle, Murray : Murray Battle (fl. 1972-2002), producer and director, is a graduate of York University's Faculty of Fine Arts. His documentary work includes Man overboard (based on journalist Ian Brown's book); documentary style commercials for advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi; Elwy : the man who loves the movies; Space suite; and The Apollo years for TVO. In 1994, Murray premiered his feature drama, April one, at the Summer Institute. His feature film, Water Damage, starring Daniel Baldwin and Dean Stockwell, premiered in 2001 on the American specialty channel, Oxygen. In addition to producing Saturday night at the movies for TVOntario, Murray is currently (2002) directing The next big thing, a documentary about six Canadian stand-up comedians.
