Fonds consists of unedited interviews of Al Calder, Charles "Bud" Roos, Lew Weekes and Michael Spencer about their experiences in the Canadian Army Film and Photo Unit during the Second World War. The interviews were shot for a television documentary about the history of the unit. Jean O'Regan is executive producer of the documentary. James O'Regan is the producer. The fonds also includes a video master of the documentary SHOOTERS, about the history of the Canadian Army Film and Photo Unit, an interview of photographer Ken Bell about his service with the unit during the Second World War and an interview of Jack Donoghue about the unit and his work as a Canadian Army public relations officer during the Second World War.

O'Regan, Jean, 1924-2012 : Jean O'Regan was born Jean Elizabeth Higginson in Meerut, India on 21 January 1924. She was raised in Camberley, Surrey, England, where she attended elementary school.

During the Second World War she worked as a hairdresser and a riveter in a British factory making combat aircraft. On 16 January 1945, in Camberley, she married Brian O'Regan, a member of the Canadian Army Film and Photo Unit. She moved to Canada in 1946 and raised a family. She is executive producer of a television documentary, produced by her son James O'Regan, about the Canadian Army Film and Photo Unit. Jean O'Regan died on 19 July 2012.
