Fonds consists of footage shot by Harrison including family films and commercial shorts, both live action and animation. Also included is a short amateur film on the R-100 airship entitled The highway of tomorrow or how one makes two.

Harrison, Dent : Dent Harrison was born in the village of Darlington, near Bradford in Yorkshire, England on the 8 March 1869. His parents were William and Jane Harrison. Jane died young, leaving William a widower with six children. The children were adopted by various relatives. Dent Harrison was raised by his Uncle Hartley and Aunt Jane Harrison, who were bakers in Pontfract and later in Birkenshaw, near Bradford. Dent Harrison came to Canada in 1889 as an engineer for Singer Sewing Machine Company, then in its infancy, and offering ambitious young Englishemn paid contracts for a year to work in their Montréal plant. Harrison's technical skills extented to filmmaking. He was a member of the Amateur Cinema League, and created several amateur films including family films, commerical shorts, live action and animation.
