Three part film about Canadian industries as seen through the International Harvester Company of Canada, Limited. Inter-title; "Hamilton Works of the International Harvester Company of Canada, Limited is situated on Burlington Bay at the western extremity of lake Ontario.Here in the busy city of Hamilton during normal times, the Harvester plant employs more than 3000 Canadians and contributes to the support of 15,000 citizens." Inter-title; "An airplane view conveys some idea of the vastness of the factory grounds and buildings. This is the greatest agricultural implement works in the British Empire." Inter-title; "Recently the manufacture of McCormick-Deering cream separators was transferred to Hamilton Works. A group of industrial officials, headed by Mayor Wilton of Hamilton, visits the plant to inspect the new industry. Perhaps we can accompany them on their tour." Various shots of the plant casting and building new cream separators for shipment. Inter-title; "His Worship Mayor Wilton tags for shipment the first McCormick-Deering cream separator that was built in Hamilton." Part two continues with the manufacture of cream separators and milkers. Inter-title; "At Hamilton Works a complete line of plows, tillage implements, grain drills, and other farm equipment is made for Canadian farms." Inter-title; "Making Binder Twine in Canada." The film discusses how sisal leaves are processed into fiber that is used to make McCormick-Deering Big-Ball twine. Part three continues with the twine being bundled into bales for shipment. Inter-title; "By boat and train the McCormick-Deering Big-Ball twine, with patented protective cover, is shipped to all points in Canada." Inter-title; "Building International Trucks in Canada." The film looks at the construction and manufacture of International trucks at the their factory in Chatham, Ontario. Inter-title; "Canadian built International trucks are busy at every kind of job and in all parts of Canada." The film ends with several shots of trucks and a close-up shot of the 'International' tag on a truck front hood. <35m 25s>
