The series consists of documents related to the publication of the PHSC Journal. It contains general files and articles submitted to the Journal. They are arranged in chronological order. Most of the articles were published in a special issue of the Journal that commemorated "CAPEX 87" and the 100th anniversary of organized philately in Canada. Other articles may also be found in the General files.

Originals and layouts in this series are arranged by issue number. The series also contains 29 black and white photographs, one colour photograph and two negatives; most of these were used to illustrate the Journal.
