Series consists of correspondence reporting on the movements of the National Continental Union League (NCUL), written by Thomas Burke Grant (alias Marcus Robinson), an American newspaperman, to David Creighton, manager of the Empire of Toronto. In June 1894, Mr. Grant managed to get possession of copies of Francis Weyland Glen's (Secretary of the NCUL) correspondence and sent them to Creighton. Copies of all the correspondence were given to the Department of Justice where they were placed in a secret file.
