Series consists of photographs that document Canadian Food and Allied Workers and predecessor food processing and fur industry unions including: events, meetings, and banquets of food and fur industry unions; fur industry displays in Labour Day parade (Toronto, 1967); interior of a fur shop; 50th anniversary of Fur Workers Union (Toronto, 1962); and Toronto District Labour Council. Individuals in the photographs include Herve Ouellette, Bruno Zimmer, Al Hershkowitz, Harry Weisfield, David Lewis, Abe Feinglass, and Toronto mayor John Sewell. Photographs also depict the activities of Max Federman, manager of Local 68 and Local 82 of the fur worker union, in Toronto and in support of the Jewish labour movement in Israel.
