Sub-series consists of files documenting economic research at the Department of Transport. The files were given the 1300 block and include subjects relating to studies, appreciations and estimates relating to road safety, trucking, highways, the DEW line, airlift capabilities, steamship services, international aviation, trends in transportation, air carriers, economics, railways, wharves, bridges, freight rates, and the transportation of grain.
