Collection consists of an album containing numerous newspaper clippings depicting all forms of activity and events, including: landscape views of Quebec, Montreal, Great Britain, scenes of battle, architecture, monuments, accidents, polar expeditions, the Crimean War, sporting events, politicians, famous writers, the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia and satirical cartoons. The prints were made from numerous artist's drawings including: E.A. Abbey, Sol Eytinge, H. Harral, Frederick B. Schell, H. Dutheil, L. Chapon, Jules Lavec, C.A. Vanderhoof, Theo R. Davies, Erskine Nicol, J.W. Alexander and Charles St. G. Stanley.
