Sub-series consists of central registry files related to the pilotage function which was administered by the Superintendent of Pilots within Marine Services. These files were assigned the 8500 block within the Transport Central registry and some of the records were brought forward from the old registries of the Department of Marine and Fisheries. Subjects include, but are not limited to, wartime bonuses, pilotage issues, investigative committees, and the Royal Mail.
