Sub-series consists of central registry files relating to the International Boundary Commission and reports on the northern islands of Canada as well as an early account of the Activites of the Astronomical Branch in two volumes. The General Introduction (volume one) was written by R. Meldrum Stewart, who served as Dominion Astronomer from 1923 until his retirement in 1946.
