This series includes correspondence, notes, schedules and publicity clippings regarding readings and exhibitions held at the Great George Street Gallery, the Phoenix Galleries and Gallery-on-Demand. Gool was co-founder, along with his artist wife, Hilda Woolnough, of the latter two institutions.

The material includes documentation on National book week events, correspondence and schedules of visiting authors and poets, promotional materials n.d., 1976-1987, Great George Street Gallery newsletters 1982-1985, and a Canada Council brief 1987. Scripts by Gool for readings include: 'Island farmer', 'Scotsman', 'La donne e mobile', 'Dawn', 'A conversion,' and extracts from 'The Nemesis Casket' n.d., 1981. Records of the Phoenix Galleries Craft Co-operative include ledger books and financial statements, as well as publicity records n.d., 1971-1977.

P.E.I. Council of the Arts files 1975-1979, Gool's review of an exhibition entitled 'Three painters of P.E.I' (Gwen Fichaud, Daphne Irving and Ann Lee) held at Confederation Centre Art Gallery 1975, his review of Neil Chodorow and Ann Lee exhibitions, Milton Acorn memorial festival material 1986-1988 and a script assessing the poetry of Pat Lowther form part of this series. In addition there is some printed material related to the Writers' Union of Canada 'Inner Circle' 1981-1983, and publicity posters and press clippings.
