Sub-sub-series consists of requisitions and receipts for arms, accoutrements and stores, issued to the Volunteer Militia units in Ontario and Quebec, as well as returns of arms and stores issued to the units, 1856-1868. The subs-sub-series includes a report on deficiencies dated 1859. The subs-sub-series also includes correspondence relating to the purchase of clothing in England in 1863 and of rifles and arms in the United-States during the period 1866-1867.
