The series consists of textual records from his four years as the editor and producer of the Unesco "World Review" radio programme. It comprises scripts of radio programmes; "World Review" weekly radio bulletins; reports on the progress and distribution of the "World Review"; files relating to his employment with Unesco and contract dispute and departure in 1955; files on his work with the Staff Association on behalf of David Leff and other Americans who were released from Unesco because of McCarthyism; and clippings about the McCarthy purges at Unesco.
