It shows: artillery; guns firing; soldiers running; ships at sea; convoys; planes; tanks and ammunition being shipped overseas; supplies shipped by the Canadian Red Cross for the military; sailors; planes; tanks; soldiers with flamethrowers; Red Cross workers giving refreshments to soldiers; crates marked Canadian Red Cross British Civilian Relief; artillery fire at night; burning buildings; soldiers and civilians among ruins of buildings; carry a body out of the ruins; Red Cross rest centres; civilians eating at centres; children in nurseries operated by the Canadian Junior Red Cross; British war brides and their children boarding a ship for Canada; Red Cross workers welcoming war brides; crates of patchwork quilts and other bedding for soldiers; meals served at the Junior Officers' Club; interior and exterior of Maple Leaf Club in London; Canadian Sisters London Club for Canadian women in the military and nurses; crates of clothing and medical supplies for Europe; medical care; parcels for prisoners of war; captured soldiers; prisoner of war camps; crates of hospital supplies; Red Cross ambulance; soldier brought on a stretcher to a hospital; blood transfusions; wounded soldiers loaded onto Dakota transport planes bound for England; Canadian woman driving ambulance; wounded soldiers arriving in hospitals where they get cigarettes, chocolate, books and handcrafted materials from women Red Cross workers; and more battle scenes. <10mn 35s>
