Canada. Canadian Army. Director of Supply and Transport (London, England) : The Director of Supply and Transport, London administered the Canadian Army Service Corps in England and in France from Argyll House. In England the Director was responsible to the Quartermaster General (QMG) for supply and transport, messing, barrack services, the sale of tobacco and food supplies to soldiers and their dependants. His responsibilities in France centred on supply and transport for the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF).
