Accession consists of 3 account books pertaining to the construction of the Parliament buildings in 1862. The first book carries title 'Eastern block No 2 book'. This book contains 68 small pencil and ink sketches of windows, stone towers, joists, and arches for the eastern block. The second book carries the title 'Contract book No 3' This book contains a hand written index of various contracts on different phases of construction. The third book is titled 'Material & plant Western block, departmental buildings, Ottawa'.
