Canada. Canadian Engineers. Battalion, 12th : The 12th Battalion, Canadian Engineers was organized in France in May 1918 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.T.C. Thompson. It was made up of personnel from the 12th Field Company and the 124th Pioneer Battalion. The battalion formed part of the 4th Canadian Engineer Brigade. The 12th Battalion was demobilized at Toronto in June 1919 and was disbanded by General Order 192 of 1 November 1920.
