Canada. Canadian Engineers. Battalion, 11th : The 11th Battalion, Canadian Engineers was organized in France in May 1918 under the command of Major H.L. Trotter. It was made up of personnel from the 11th Field Company and from the 124th Pioneer Battalion. The battalion formed part of the 4th Canadian Engineer Brigade. The 11th Battalion was demobilized at Montreal in June 1919 and was disbanded by General Order 192 of 1 November 1920. The battalion supported a band that it inherited from the 124th Battalion.
