Series consists of proceedings of the All-Canadian Congress of Labour, 1929 and 1935-1940, and of its predecessors, the National Trades and Labor Congress of Canada, 1903-1908, and the Canadian Federation of Labour, 1909-1917, 1921-1924. The CFL proceedings from the 1920s form part of convention souvenirs and annuals, which contain other information on the CFL as well as commercial advertising directed at trade unionists. The proceedings of the final convention of the ACCL, 1940, are also the proceedings of the first convention of its successor, the Canadian Congress of Labour. Included are related documents, such as executive reports.

Custodial history:

This microfilm reel was created in 1966 by the Public Archives of Canada. Internal evidence indicates that the documents were copied from the holdings of the Department of Labour Library. This microfilm was transferred to the CLC fonds from the National Archives Library in 2001.
