Collection search - Legal registry files of the Land Management Group (Realty) [textual record (microfiche)]

This accession consists of central registry files generated by the Land Management Group (Realty) of Parks Canada. The files contain legal documents relating to leasehold and freehold property sites on lands under the control of Parks Canada, including such items as deeds and legal transfer agreements.
The files are organized by region, park, townsite, block number and lot site using the older National Parks Branch file classification system. Files are identified by a park or site code with a two digit file number reference followed by the block and lot numbers. The files are all in the 21 file block (Townsites - Administration and Applications for Lots - General). For example, file B21/B10/L12 would refer to Banff, Block 10, Lot 12 and J21/B2/L8 would refer to a Block 2, Lot 8 in the Jasper townsite.

Textual records, microform: Accession consists of silver-master microfiche and diazo-positive microfiche. For townsites in the Western Region of Parks Canada, there is only the diazo-positive microfiche. For all other regions, there is both silver-master and diazo-positive fiche.
