Sub-series comprises miscellaneous personal records stored in a blanket box. The Opera records document efforts to build a Ballet and Opera House in Toronto. They are followed by eight files of energy consultation, and eight files of political or business speeches, conferences, and lectures. The Point Tupper files document SSL's attempt in the early 1990s to develop a terminal there in partnership with Canada Steamship Lines. The other personal papers consist of personal correspondence in 1996, and records of the political conflict of interest accusation in 1983 that led to Gillespie's resignation from Carling O'Keefe.
