Sub-series records were gathered and boxed some time after 1983, perhaps following his resignation from Carling O'Keefe. Originally, there were at least 13 boxes, but only six remained. The sub-series consists of three blocks. The first is about 40 files, June 1979 to October 1980, mostly of energy and business consultations including Scotia Coal Synfuels (vol. 379, file 13), together with some non-business subjects. The second block appears to be personal records from his three years (1980-1983) as Chairman of Carling O'Keefe Ltd. Those records begin with his appointment, letters of congratulations, and background information. They include trips, the Canadian Opera Company, oil and energy issues, including Scotia Billings, and files on Rothman International. The third block is his Carling O'Keefe correspondence.
