This series includes correspondence, meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and special nominating committee files related to the proposed slate of directors and members by province of the newly created Vanier Institute of the Family, and to the hiring of staff. The Constitution Committee files within this series include the Petition for Incorporation, Application for Letters Patent and Memorandum of Agreement, and various organizational records, including the design of the letterhead and crest for the Institute. Also included in the Series are working file copies of a handout entitled 'The Vanier Institute of the Family: its purpose and its work' / 'L'Institut Vanier de la Famille: ses objectifs, ses realisations' [1969].
