The sub-series consists of material, including correspondence, teaching notes, schedules, audition notes, prompt books, theatre programmes, reviews, costume designs, an animated film and a sound recording of a play rehearsal documenting Roberts' freelance work as a teacher, director and arts administrator, along with two sub-series which relate to her involvement with a proposal to establish a theatre museum in Canada and to her work as an evaluator for the Laidlaw Foundation. The first group of files are arranged alphabetically by the name of the theatre or organization, including the Canadian Stage Company, Equity Showcase Theatre, George Brown College, National Theatre School, Ontario Arts Council (including material on the Floyd S. Chalmers Play Award), Playhouse Theatre (with correspondence from Michael Johnston), Ryerson, Tarragon Theatre (with correspondence from Urjo Kareda), Theatre Ontario, Village Playhouse, and Wintergarden/Elgin Theatre Project. Also included are plans for the Monument-National in Montreal, King's Landing at Harbourfront in Toronto, Provincial Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary, and Tarragon Theatre in Toronto.

The two sub-series consist of Canadian theatre museum records; and Laidlaw Foundation files.
