Fonds consists of original editorial cartoons by Bob Bierman drawn for the Victoria Times, the Times Colonist and Monday magazine. Includes federal politics from Pearson to Mulroney and British Columbia politics from W.A.C. Bennett to Bill Vander Zalm.

Includes cartoon by Bob Bierman of Bill Vander Zalm as Minister of Human Resources pulling the wings off a fly which was used as evidence in British Columbia Supreme Court appeal of Vander Zalm's libel suit in 1978.

Bierman, Bob, 1921- : Bob Bierman was born in 1921 in Amsterdam. He did some work for various Dutch publications after the Second World War before emigrating to Canada in 1950. He is a freelance cartoonist who works mainly for "Monday Magazine" in Victoria, British Columbia.
