Pearson qui devaient tous devenir premiers ministres à leur tour, ainsi que Mackenzie King qui mourra l'année suivante.~Le poste de Gentilhomme Huissier de la Verge noire a été occupé par le Major Charles Réal Lamoureux de 1947 à 1970.
