The series consists of four sub-series of textual records largely documenting Jean Roberts' position as Director of Program Development and Production in CBC-TV's Drama Department: Correspondence and subject files; Scripts and proposals; International festivals; and Special projects. Roberts' own file titles have been retained where they existed (and are documented in the files); the rest of the files were created from unfiled material by the National Archives. Also included is graphic material, consisting of one publicity poster, as well as one architectural blueprint of 'Olive's house' for 'Island love song', a CBC production filmed in Cape Breton.
