Sub-series consists of indexes to minutes of proceedings of the Railway Committee of the Privy Council, 1869-1903. This bound volume contains two indexes. The first is arranged alphabetically by location, railway name, and subject, so that any matter discussed at a meeting may appear two or three times in this index. These entries are keyed to the appropriate volume and page number. The second index is a chronological list of meetings with the matters dealt with at each meeting listed beside each entry. The index contains no entries for meetings held after 21 May 1903.
