Collection search - 1914 Photograph of Ottawa Letter Carriers [graphic material]

Copy print (photograph) taken from an original photo-montage, depicting the staff of Ottawa letter carriers in 1914.. Also depicted in the photograph (centre) are a view of the old Ottawa Post Office (replaced by the National War Memorial) and a montage (bottom centre) of three letters, one superimposed over the other, the top letter bearing the inscription "Letter Carriers of Ottawa", above which are placed single cancelled examples of the Scott #'s 104 & 106 (Admiral Issue) and a facsimile of an enclosed double ring circular date stamp, dated "3 P.M. - 1914." The image also contains the inscription "Pittaway Photo" and on the mat, (bottom right corner) the printed inscription "Pittaway - Ottawa, Ont.," with a monogram to the left..
