Spiro, Solomon J. (Solomon Joseph), 1928- : Solomon Joseph Spiro was born in 1928. He is a rabbi of an Orthodox congregation in Montreal and is very knowledgeable in Judaica. His interest in A.M. Klein dates back to 1971 when he completed an MA at Concordia University in Montreal with a thesis entitled, The Second Gloss: An Exegesis of the Second Scroll by A.M. Klein. He obtained his Ph.D. at McGill University in 1980 also based on his study and interpretation of the works of A.M. Klein.

During his research on Klein, he conducted oral history interviews with other Klein scholars and published a book entitled, Tapestry for Designs: Judaic Allusions in the Second Scroll and the Collected Poems of A.M. Klein. Website: 206887
