Fonds consists of oral history interviews by S. Berman and Sari Stolow of a cross section of business and professional people and others of the Ottawa Jewish community. Fonds also consists of a speech by historian and author, Abraham Arnold, about the history of the Ottawa Jewish community delivered at a joint breakfast meeting of the Ottawa Jewish Historical Society and the Agudath Israel Men's Club held in Ottawa on February 9, 1975. Additional comments from other attendees is also recorded.

Ottawa Vaad Ha'ir : The Ottawa Vaad Ha'ir (Jewish Community Council of Ottawa) was formed in 1934 as the central Jewish agency in Ottawa, to consolidate and co-ordinate the activities of the various synagogues and organizations within the community.
