Series consists of black and white photographs including portraits of Archibald Lampman, poet, his sister, his wife and daughter Natalie, Lord and Lady Aberdeen, William Lyon Mackenzie King, Lord and Lady Tweedsmuir, members of the Jenkins family including Dorothy Jenkins (later McCurry), Harry McCurry, Duncan Campbell Scott, Reginald Brock, Marian Jenkins Brock, Dorothy James visiting W.L.M. King at Kingsmere, Quebec, various Canadian artists and sculptors including Frances Loring. Subjects also include winter activities around Ottawa and activities of Mr. and Mrs. McCurry in artistic and musical circles in Ottawa. Some photographs by John Vanderpant, G.T. Wadds and Artona Studio. Series also comprises two daguerreotypes, one a portrait of an unidentified man, and also troops of the 1st Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, on Vancouver Island.
