Series consists of two large collections of Christmas and greeting cards (accessions 1976-87, 1979-69), (1937-1955) from the collection of Harry Orr and Dorothy McCurry, received from artists and prominent Canadian art critics and curators, mostly received by Harry McCurry during his tenure as Director of the National Gallery of Canada from 1939 to 1955. Series also comprises individual drawings and prints including a portrait of Harry McCurry by Pegi Nichol McLeod, Mackenzie King and his dog Pat by Arthur Lismer, other cartoons by Lismer, architectural views and other prints.
