Fonds consists of oral history interviews conducted by Barbara Martineau of Anne-Claire Poirier, Kathleen Shannon, Mireille Dansereau, Joyce Weiland and Caroline Leaf about their work in the film production industry in Canada. These interviews were done during Barbara Martineau's research on the topic of women in the Canadian film industry as part of her studies at Queen's University. Fonds also contains proceedings of the symposium on Hollywood and Canadian films presented at the World Film Festival of Canada held in Montreal during August 20 and 21, 1977.

Cinema Canada : Cinema Canada was published bimonthly by the Cinema Canada Magazine Foundation, 1967, with the aid of a grant from the Canada Council, its goal was to document the Canadian film industry. Editors Connie and Jean-Pierre Tadros maintained two offices, one in Toronto and the other in Montreal. The content of the periodical contained many articles written by the editors and freelance writers on a wide variety of film-related topics. It was also issued on microfilm by Commonwealth Microfilm Products of Calgary. Cinema Canada ceased publication in 1989. NA Collection File documentation.
