Footage of: a farmer plowing field after harvest with horse drawn plow. A man walking behind the plow. A field being plowed by steam driven tractor dragging tillers. A man sowing seed in a field from a sack across his shoulder. A farmer emptying sack of seed into a spreader. A man and woman farmers harvesting wheat. The woman is raking and making sheafs and binding them with knots. The man is using a sickle to cut the wheat. A team of three horses is shown pulling a combine. They move from right to left shearing wheat and from left to right bundling it. A horse drawn wagon partially loaded with wheat comes to a stop while a farmer loads more sheafs onto the wagon with a pitch fork. A team of horses pulling a Stewart Loader with sheafs being automatically loaded is seen. Two farmers thresh wheat by beating it with long sticks.~Interior of an iron-steel foundry. Shows cutting blades being tempered under flames and drilled with rivet holes. Sharp edge being put on knives and holes being punched. Mould being prepared for grey iron casting. Mould being displayed, ready to take moulten iron. Men filling and carrying ladels of moulten iron. Iron being poured into moulds. Castings being taken from moulds and cooled in water. Various newly-cast knotters for binding machines displayed. Knotter being assembled. Hook that secures knot in automatic knotter shown. Binder and knotter assembled and the actual sheaf binding process demonstrated. Horse drawn grain-mower. <30mn>
